Harrison Bar Mitzvah Day 1

Our first day of our vacation was spent driving to Austin, Texas where we were flying out of. On the drive out we were passing fields of bluebonnets so I couldn't resist pulling the car over to take a few photos.

The drive wasn't bad. We got checked in and then went to McKinney Falls State Park. We hiked around and enjoyed ourselves. That is of course until we all got overheated and didn't have any water.

I was having a difficult time enjoying myself over the anxiety of flying with three kids and whether the boys would adjust to the time change. All of this turned out to be needless worrying but I worried nonetheless.

We ate dinner and then went straight to bed excited for what we had to look forward to.
