Box Car Derby

And now photos from the box car derby. Very exciting. I know you have been DYING to see these.

You start with a block of wood. You hack away at it with a saw until it is the general shape you were looking for and then you get down to sanding...

And you continue sanding...

I had lots more sanding pictures but you get the idea. You finish it off with a coat of paint and a few stickers and Voila! you are done.

Here we are with our finished product. Not bad considering Ian really did all but a little of the sawing on his own. We are big on that in our house. You do it, not us! Even if that means you don't win.
