Jody's visit

Here we went to the George Historical Ranch. It was really amazing and we could have spent longer than our 4 hrs. if Daniel had not been with us.

This building from the 1930s was by far the coolest experience from the day. The gentleman who "lives" here was amazing. Spent lots of time talking to the boys about what his life was like, giving them tasks and letting them ask questions. Much more than a basic presentation you normally would receive.

Here is telling the boys all about the kitchen, how he collects his eggs and makes food.
Here he put the boys to work.
Showing the boys how they make the horse blankets.
Starting a fire. He talked the boys through every step.
The tool shed.
Daniel was amazed by the oxen.
The pigs were friendly enough you could pet them.

Getting a ride on a tractor.

Look how beautiful everything was.

The trophy room.
It was like watching a one-on-one rodeo.
Then they taught the boys how to rope some cattle.
