Birthday Photos FINALLY

I know you were probably thinking "When in the heck is this woman EVER going to post those week old pictures from Alex's birthday party?" Well here they are...

It was lots of fun. About 8 kids, their parents and family. We watched a video about the history of chocolate, colored, made chocolate pizzas and ate real pizza (something not sugar had to be served) followed by chocolate cupcakes and cake! What is not to love. The kids got to put their handprints on a shirt to take home with their uneaten chocolate pizzas. The theme was "spiderman, baseball, cowboy, ninja, football, starwars, pizza party" and with the mish mash of stuff it looked like I just used all the stuff from previous parties. This was difficult for me and shows the true love I feel for my 4 yr. old.

Meme (at age 90) make the treck from New Braunfels with Darren's parents to partake in the festivities. This is Alex showing off his reading skills.

Here is the cake Alex requested. Strawberry with m&ms, marshmellows, sprinkles and gummy bears. Actually pretty good.

Here is my brother-in-law Shawn with my nephew Brandon. They were in town for my dad's 60th birthday celebration.

Here is my dad wearing the shirt the boys made him that says "my grandpa is this many" with 60 fingers up. Can you tell that Daniel is cracking up?

Here is my sister Audrey with Daniel. Yes she is pregnant!! Another boy. Come on audrey we were pulling for you to produce the girl.

My dad still playing with Daniel

All the cupcakes with football, cowboy, starwars, baseball, spiderman decorations.
The big poster the kids colored for Alex
Everyone watching the DVD "all about chocolate"
The chocolate guy explaining to the kids how he will take the melted chocolate out of the crock pot and put it into there plates to decorate their own "chocolate pizza" with m&ms, gummy bears and jelly beans.
Here is Baker Alex ready to get started.

Darren helping alex out a bit.
Darren are you supposed to be doing that or alex?

Say cheese pizza!

Alex got a superman outfit with a chain they break apart. This is Ian wearing it.
Audrey a nd Myself - great shot Shawn. Didn't anyone ever tell you that if you shoot from that angle you always look like you have a double chin?
I want to get this framed (although it will be out of date as soon as she has that baby) I just love it though.
Here is Daniel FASCINATED by meme (darren's grandmother)
